October meal plan 2017

 

October 2nd 2017

 

Breakfast: oatmeal with Blended banana cinnamon almond milk and a side of blueberries
Snack: yogurt with mixed veggies and dip. Along with cheese and crackers.
Lunch: made from scratch squash soup with a mixed in homemade chicken broth. Also some Naan bread for dipping on the side

October 3rd 2017

 

Breakfast: scrambled eggs with whole wheat toast butter and jam with a side of prunes.
Snack: smoked salmon, mozzarella cheese, whole wheat with baked in flaxseed chips. And a side of veggies with dip
Lunch: spaghetti with homemade sauce with tomatoes from the garden and beef

October 4th 2017

 

Breakfast: yogurt granola and plums on the side
Snack: homemade squash soup with veggie crackers and candied smoked salmon
Lunch: roast turkey with potatoes carrots onions and gravy

 

October 5th 2017

 

Breakfast: oatmeal cooked in almond milk with Blended banana cinnamon topped off with milk and brown sugar. Apple slices on the side.
Snack: yogurt, candied smoked salmon and cauliflower with dip. Dolmadakia was tried today, it’s a grape leaf stuffed with rice and Herb’s. It’s a staple in our household and I thought the kids might like to try some. It takes kids 12 tries of a new food to accept it, I think for most of them this was the first try it was neat watching them test it out;)
Lunch: leftover roast beef sandwiches with cheese on whole wheat bread. Carrots and dip on the side

Breakfast:oatmeal with Blended bananas almond milk and cinnamon
Snack:vegetable crackers withhold cheddar cheese and a Mott’s fruitsations unsweetened blueberry cup
Lunch: stir fry with chicken broccoli and rice

October 11 2017

 

Breakfast:
Shredded Wheat with sliced banana honey drizzled on top and milk
Snack:
Yogurt, veggie crackers and slices of cheese. Celery carrot sticks and dip
Lunch:
Homemade tomato sauce with beef and spaghetti noodles.

 

October 12 2017

 

Breakfast:
Yogurt and granola with apple slices
Snack:
Slice of ham, crackers, old cheddar cheese and blackberries
Lunch:
Chicken sandwiches on whole wheat bread with carrot and celery sticks

 

October 13 2017

 

Breakfast:
Scrambled eggs with whole wheat buttered toast and jam. Half a banana on the side
Snack:
Same as yesterday and Ham slices, crackers and cheese. With blackberries on the side.
Lunch:
Roast beef sandwiches with cheese and lettuce on whole wheat bread. Carrot and celery sticks on the side with dressing.

Breakfast:
Yogurt granola and half a banana
Snack:
Blueberries crackers and mazza cheese, and carrot sticks
Lunch:
Tuna sandwiches on whole wheat bread with canned mushroom soup (with all the running noses and colds, I wanted to give them hot soup but didn’t have any homemade stuff defrosted)

October 17 2017

Breakfast:
Oatmeal cooked in almond milk with cinnamon and vanilla Blended up with bananas. A small sprinkle of brown sugar and milk on top. With a side of blueberries.

Snack:
My husband made a huge brunch for himself and us!! After playing Outdoors we came inside to the smell of breakfast sausages and homemade mashed potatoes cooking. So we had that for snack I added some plums on the side.
Lunch:
Because the power was out while I was prepping the food I made them peanut butter and jam sandwiches on whole wheat bread. With some cut up peppers and dip on the side.

Breakfast:
Whole wheat toast with jam and butter and scrambled eggs and blueberries
Snack:
Yogurt and plums and veggie crackers with cottage cheese
Lunch:
Stir fry with rice, onions, roast beef, and peppers

October 19th  2017

Breakfast:
Life cereal (it’s whole grain with cinnamon) added blueberries on top and apple slices on the side.
Snack:
At their request I made ” cheese sticks”. Carrots & peppers with two different hummus dips to try out. And some crackers.
Lunch:
Tuna sandwiches on whole wheat with carrots and dip.

 

October 20th

 

Breakfast:

Yogurt granola and half a banana

Snack:

Smoked candied salmon, crackers, home made cheese stick, with carrots and dip

Lunch:

Spaghetti with homemade spaghetti sauce with tomatoes from the garden and shredded cheese on top.

Breakfast:
Oatmeal cooked in almond milk with cinnamon and banana Blended in. Brown sugar and a bit of milk on top. A side of plums
Snack:
Yogurt, candied smoked salmon mixed veggies and dip
Lunch:
Roast beef sandwiches with a Twist;) I thought I would let them try some of havarti cheese has a slight kick of spice to it. On whole wheat brown bread with a side of cucumber.

Scrambled eggs whole wheat toast with jam and butter and a side of sliced apples.

Snack:

Mixed veggies with dip, crackers and cheese. Frozen blueberries on the side.

Lunch:

Roast beef sandwiches on whole wheat with cheese and a side of cucumber.

Homemade French toast on whole wheat with blueberries

Snack:

Yogurt, carrots, broccoli, plums

Lunch:

Spaghetti with homemade sauce

Breakfast:

Oeatmeal

Snack:

Yogurt, carrots, broccoli, blueberries

Lunch:

Homemade spinach and cottage cheese lasagna, with coleslaw   

 

October 27, 2017

 

Breakfast:

Oatmeal cooked in almond milk with mashed banana cinnamon and vanilla sprinkled with a bit of brown sugar and milk. Blueberries on the side

Snack:

Mixed veggies and dip. Sliced carrots with yogurt to dip. And a side of plums

Lunch:

I let them have a white bread sandwich today with barbecued sliced chicken and slices of tomato. Mixed veggie salad on the side.

Snack:
Yogurt. Veggies and dip. Whole eat soda cracker with sliced chicken breast.
Lunch:
Pulled pork on whole wheat bread sandwiches. With a side of chicken rice and carrot soup.
